(Acts 1,1-11): first book I wrote, Theophilus, about all that Jesus did and taught from the beginning until the date on which the Holy Spirit gave the Apostles the command, whom he had chosen, and then was taken to heaven. Im also after his passion by many proofs, that he was alive: appearing to them during forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God. And during a common meal ordered them not to leave Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father: You've heard about it from me - / he / - John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit. Meeting they asked him: Sir, are you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel? He said to them: not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has fixed by his own authority, but when the Holy Spirit comes on you will receive power and will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and unto the ends of the earth. After these words, lifted up in their presence at the top and a cloud took him from their sight. When persistently stared at him as he went to heaven, came to two men in white robes. I said, Ye men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus who has been taken from you into heaven, will come just as you saw him go into heaven.
